Total Teamwear - Environmental & Ethical Trading Notice

As a small family owned & run business that has been trading over 25 years we have always believed in conducting ourselves with trust, honesty & integrity in everything we do. Our dealings with Customers, Suppliers, Staff and the Local Community always reflect this.

We make every effort to ensure our own operations are ethical & sustainable and equally importantly when operating in the clothing industry that our Suppliers and Partners also uphold these high standards themselves.

1.       Clothing Supply

We only choose suppliers that trade in an ethical way and we ensure that the brands that we sell are manufactured to the required standards in their countries of origin and that there is no modern slavery & human trafficking in the supply chain. We ensure that within our product offering is a range of sustainable garments manufactured from organic and/or recycled materials should Customers prefer them.

2.       Delivery Services

We only work with delivery & courier services that are committed to reducing transport-related emissions and that they provide carbon neutral shipping.

3.       Packaging & Waste Management

All our old cardboard boxes are stored and taken for recycling on a regular basis. Old catalogues and the office paperwork we generate are also recycled. Old or surplus clothing is recycled using locally available recycling bins. We separate our other waste on site into separate bins and recycle accordingly.

4.       Energy use

We are changing over to energy saving bulbs & lights throughout our offices & production areas. We are reducing our use of paper catalogues and postal marketing and instead using our website and email wherever possible to provide our Customers with all the information they require. We recently changed our energy provider to one whose electricity only comes from 100% renewable sources.
